I paid cash for a ticket and a lien was placed on my taxes. When I called about the refund I was told that they have the ability to hold my money in escrow for 45 days; however, with holidays and weekends, they can make it 50. A letter goes out, and then they transfer to JPSO to issue a check. Her words, " So you have a little longer to wait." Why is money sitting in escrow making interest when you could clearly send it out for processing? Why can't the Court issue the payment considering it's an overage that was paid directly to them TWICE. This is ludicrous.
i went to the court ask some information. A Senior Lady received me, but she not try to help me!!! she is rude and discriminate!!
Worst representatives and they are not consistent with how they give information. They just want money. The manager of the clerk office is definitely rude and she does not provide assistance.
Got told to be here between 4-6, drive 2 and a half hours to show up at 4:30, lady locking the door as i pull up says, "sorry, we are closing early today". I am fuming. Not like anything can be done about it tho. It's our government, so I just have to suck it up and do it again tomorrow.
Came all the way from Covington in horrible weather to pay a ticket. I get there 10min before they close. A cop opens the door and says "we're closed" I say but its 6:50pm, its not 7 yet. He's "We're closed" then slams the door in my face. This is not my 1st bad experience there either. They are so rude and disrespectful.
