I wish I could give 3 1/2 stars to this JoAnn's. Service has always been great and staff has always been nice... This location doesn't have a huge selection on anything really. Not bad for yarn, although the selection could be larger and the options for fabric aren't great either. However, the other JoAnn's located at 1111 Veterans Memorial is HORRIBLE! Small. Nothing really but fabric so if you need a huge selection of fabric, this is the place! The yarn isle is ONE. ONE ISLE of yarn and a horrible selection at that too. Most of what they had was out of stock. Ugh. So, if you want a variety of things, but not a large selection, this is the JoAnn's to go to but if you're looking for nothing but fabric, 1111 Veterans, JoAnn's is the place to be.
I went specifically for fabric and was quite surprised to find their craft selection so extensive. Prices were pretty good and there were sales going on too. Not only did I purchase the fabric, but ended up buying craft paint and other supplies.
The kenner location was closed today, because there was some rain. Not even a tropical storm or a weather warning....just some rain. This store is a roach infested nightmare. The employees are the weirdest group of untrained people, all of whom severely lack social skills. The manager is incompetent. The store is filthy. I came once, thought maybe it was just a bad day. I thought I would give it a second chance today, but the store is closed. This place is just sad and needs to be shut down. The parent company should be ashamed of this location.
The store is small & the selection mediocre. When I went in yesterday, the cashier knocked over a glass item I was trying to purchase, breaking it. Then, she didn't wrap up the other glass items I bought. She just placed them in an inappropriately large bag. Never been to a store that doesn't wrap up glass items to protect it. They even do this in the dollar store!!! Wish a had a better Jo Ann's closer to me!
