Moving on to the pedis..We sat in freezing cold pedicure water for an hour (I timed it)! The poor lady next to me sat even longer, she was freezing. She asked them to please change the water temp after 45mins(couldn't get anyones attention). They did and almost overflowed the pedi station. We had to inform them. They came with a garbage can and a bowl to empty the cold water out I couldn't believe what a mess this place was.
DO NOT GET SNS!! THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT. Most places you can't get it off after 3 weeks. You could tell it was poorly done when we left. It was too thin and uneven. Thinner towards the tips(sheer). She only did 2 dips (most places do 3). Shocking several nails chipped 2 days later. My mom went in to get it fixed and they tried to charge, awful customer service. Charge us because of your poor skills?! Guess what happens the next day...2 different nails chip. We back in to get them fixed and they charged $15. They have terrible customer service! Rude and unfortunately are not trained well. Too much competition to have such poor custoner service and even worse skill.
Please save your money and go elsewhere. I would recommend Bliss.
I am not sure how this place has so many good reviews. It is awful!! I went in with my mom to have pedicures and a gel mani and she got sns for nails.
I am giving this place 3 stars because the quality of their dipping powder (SNS/Nexgen) manicures is AWFUL!! The manicure should last up to 3-4 weeks with no issues and I can't get theirs to make it past a week without nails falling off or breaking. Keep in mind that I don't work with my hands so they just fall off when I do normal things such as getting stuff out of my pocket. I understand that it is not a popular item in this area, but if you're going to offer a service you need to be able to offer a good quality service. I do actually enjoy the salon and the pedicure services I have received there. Basically I'd recommend going if you want anything BUT dipping powder.
First I want to say they did not soak my moms nails for her manicure. The lady took the nippers and ripped at my moms cuticles(she was bleeding). She made jokes the entire time about how dry her cuticles were...well yes if you don't soak them it is a bit harder to get off. My mom's hand were sore the next day when she woke up!!!
I've been back twice already - for a gel polish manicure and a regular pedicure - and plan on heading there today with my little cousin. It doesn't hurt that they are very friendly, clean, and offer bottled water, wine or mimosas every time!
I spent $60 on your basic pedicure and a full set French manicure. The next morning I had athlete's foot of some sort and my nails we're already beginning to come apart from the surface of my nail they didn't put any activator on my nails first off and within 3 days my nails looked horrible and by the end of the first week they were gone! I usually keep my nails five to six weeks before needing a refill this is the worst place ever!
Very organized and clean place. The ladies were all friendly and did a great job on our feet...very detailed & quite relaxing. We'll definitely come back!
