It feels like an older hotel that got a quick facelift. The rooms are nice enough and the lobby looks inviting, but it seems as if the construction crew had trouble paying attention to detail on a lot of things. The restaurant is okay, and the location is good. The staff is very friendly.
I'm giving 4 stars because they have a server in the restaurant that is absolutely amazing! I've never had such great customer service in my life! Her name is Ashley and deserves to be restaurant manager at the least! I'll miss you Ashley and good luck in all you do and take care of that precious baby. HEADS UP HOLIDAY INN....DONT LET THIS ONE GET AWAY!!!!
Friendly staff and nice hotel located in Metairie. Safe area, conveniently located close to Veterans Blvd. Lots of restaurants, shops and the mall near by. Right off the interstate (I-10) in case you're just stopping for rest from the drive or a place to get ready before you go out to enjoy the sites of New Orleans.
Been here for 2.5 weeks now and it always takes them 2 to 3 days to get you anything. Took 3 days to get wake up call, 2 days to get hangars, 2 days to get fridge fixed and so on. The restaurant has great service at night but terrible in morning. Always waiting on silverware, drinks. Usually done eating by the time drinks come.
However, the staff was very cordial, and I felt they generally enjoyed their jobs. Every request was pleasantly and professionally received and met, but I will not be back.

This place is a disappointment. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The carpet in the room was greasy. Both treadmills in the exercise room were broken. The furniture was all worn and just not high quality. The rooms are poorly insulated from sound. The other rooms' doors slamming and neighbors TV kept me up all night.
Good place, at a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place was well kept. And the GM was even available. I can't remember when was the last time I went to a hotel that the gym was available.it makes a difference.
