They have two lines for concessions, one for paying members and one for everybody else. For a long time, movie theaters were the last place where everyone was treated equally and fairly, now we poor folk have to wait in line for twice as long while they thin out the premier line.
First time since remodeling -don't like setup when purchasing food . Had to wait in line with two other people - while people (s) in premiere line which had ten (10) was serve first. Complain to manager - that when someone came to wait on us. Sitting area is fine if you know what to expect. But for new comers sorry you won't be sitting next to your friends if you don't do it on line or in advance. And yes if you want the privilege of being first and making sure Movies is making more money buy "Premiere" just saying
Also, bigger isn't always better.
Sorry amc, I wish the needs (desires) of the many didn't outweigh the needs of the few.
The seat selection option is nonsense. If their goal was to infuse the viewers experience with frustration and animosity towards their fellow movie-goers for not being able to get a seat next to their friends and family, then they went above and beyond.
AMC laid off the majority of their staff, replaced them with machines with limited functionality, devised a class-based membership system, and dangerous seating features.
As for the first, I felt sick giving my money to this company. Paying a little more than I used to for an average ticket, knowing that all that money is going straight into the pockets of some shareholders who fired everybody to give themselves raises.
I won't be going back to see any movies in these remodeled theatres anytime soon...maybe even "big blockbuster" ones.
The remodel ruined my movie experience. The seats were just fine to me before. Now I subconsciously spend countless minutes adjusting the seat for a perfect position I never achieve. The vast vibrations carry very efficiently with the new seats also, leaving parts of my body moving I'd rather have still when attempting to enjoy my movie.
I see the movie theater has been remodel. The theater is nice and I will be returning. The movie theater has new chairs a little table with a cup holder good job on the remodel. I feel asleep a couple of times.
Love the remodel. Had an unexpected false alarm go off during movie, which resulted in the shows cancellation. It was not their fault and they responded appropriately by giving out 1 free movie ticket per person and offering refunds. Again, not their fault. Beautiful and comfy renovation!
Finally, the awful food trays they’ve installed on the seats managed to dislocate my girlfriends kneecap when she crossed her legs. Since it’s impossible to remove or put them out of the way, someone is bound to get hurt and that’s exactly what happened. When I rushed to get ice for her, they withheld it from me until I explained what happened. After all of that I was ready to jump over the counter and get it myself.
