Wonderful place to walk your dog, big or small
I take my dog here regularly. It is free and the park is nice. There is an area for small dogs and a very large area for all dogs. There are rules posted and every now and then the park patrol checks in but it's pretty much unregulated. The only rule that I have seen them be strict about is the no kids under 10 rule, I guess bc it's easy to see and obviously dangerous. It's a big place, lots of room and well maintained.There are a few benches and a water fountain for ppl and dogs, and a track. I like it. No one checks to make sure all the dogs have their shots though...anyone can go, u just walk in. The closing times change depending on time of year. During the spring and summer it closes at 8 and other times, it closes earlier.
Anyone is allowed to go here without any vetting process. This creates a place that is ok at times but also allows trashy people or aggressive dogs in as well at times. I would recommend someplace else.
Great place to bring your dog. It's free, open to the public. There is a large (ALL DOG BIG AND SMALL) area and a small dog (ONLY) area. They offer doggy bags for messes, hose to wash off your dog, dog water fountain throughout the park, sitting areas, paved walking for dog owners. Generally great and kind individuals come here.
This dog park offers separate areas for large and smaller dogs. Has benches and shade trees. A considerable repeat community of dogs and their owners. The dogs literally seem happy to see each other!
If it's your first time here remember that you cannot have any children under the age of 10 within the dog barks! Please do not keep your dog on a leash in the dog bark. Let them run free and have fun. Do not bring your dog here if you are too over protecting, I suggest taking your dog to a petsmart as a trial to get them acclimated to other dog scents and interactions. Then move on to the dog bark. Dog barks are for the dogs to socialize and play, let them do their thing but be sure to pick up their mess ;)
