Tallest Chef Hat in the business great branding and showmanship! I do have to say there are many great choices on the menu but this place does not deliver in execution. Watery Alfredo sauce, spongy meatballs (frozen), red gravy similar to canned sauce, beef tenderloin over cooked and tough. Bar staff was inattentive and absent the entire visit. The elevation of the restaurant décor and impression does not match the sloppy management and staff cleanliness, appearance, manors and professionalism.
This restaurant was not. Took me 1 hour and 20 minutes to get my food done, and I had to push them because if not I would be waiting till now. The taste...? Well, even though it was not bad I cannot say it worth the price.
HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!!! Came here from out of town looking for a nice place to eat for Christmas dinner. Our food was not warm AT ALL, the bread was old and burnt, and it was $50 a plate. The dessert was from the Walmart baking center, and the food tasted like it was microwaved. There was a chunk of grey food that was unidentified but was supposed to be potatoes and the salad for our appetizer was not what was expected for a $50 Christmas meal. The manager was a complete douche bag and told us he would give us a discount on our food and brought back the same receipt and said Merry Christmas and then our waitress quit. We heard another patron across the restaurant call the mamager a bad bad name.
Maybe other days of the year... but not recommended for busy days like Christmas eve.
Bad service that matched the food quality with a price of $50 per plate. At least they could have microwaved the food a bit longer so that it wasn't served cold. The manager refused to discount the bill. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.
If you decide to open your business for a diner in the Christmas Eve be prepared.
Authentic Italian done right. One of my favorites in the New Orleans area. The ambiance is quaint and formal without being stuffy. And the service has very much an old world quality to it.
