Didn't wait too long on a Friday night! Seemed like a lot of locals come here too. Got the grilled catfish over shrimp angel hair pasta stuffed with crab and did double order and it was fabulous! Enough for two! Really fresh fish and delicious cream sauce. Highly recommend! Even the fried catfish was spectacular! Not too breaded and really juicy!
WOW this place is wonderful! Right on the front of Lake Pontchartrain, you first walk into an embellished courtyard with a large fountain and string lights. Inside they were decorated for the holidays, which also added a nice ambience. It's not formal, yet not overly casual. Our service was polite, attentive, friendly. As for the food: the pecan-crusted trout special was unbelievably decadent and delicious (please put in on the menu full time!!), the boiled shrimp salad light and yet still so flavorful, even their sweet potato fries were crisped to perfection - what an incredible experience. We will be back
Great food, great service and great price. Ordered the rabbit, a seafood platter and stuffed catfish; recommend you try this place. You will not be disappointed. GM

The food is some of the best and the gumbo Is awesome. ... full of "Stuff"...I love alot of shrimp and crab in mine. Fried shrimp is wonderful. .. even the shimp salads have 30 + shrimp on them. ..amazing!
