Editing my previous review to two stars after the stylist for my wedding just called to tell me she no longer works there. This is the SECOND time this salon has moved me around on my wedding day. First, they had to reschedule me as the stylist I initially scheduled with "had a wedding to attend that day". I've never felt so unvalued as a customer. This is the most important day I will ever be photographed and they just don't care. I won't go here again and will not recommend them ever again. So disappointed I have to find another salon two weeks out from my big day.
Best experience ever!! Becca is absolutely wonderful! She is an amazing stylist and did great with my color!! I could not be happier with my results. I definitely found my salon that I will use forever! This place is amazing! Ask for Becca and you will not be disappointed!! She's amazing!! :)
Best salon I've ever been to! Not only do they have comfy massage chairs;) but the staff there is AMAZING. Definetly worth every penny.
I have been going to this salon for years and have had multiple stylists cut, color, or highlight my hair here. Staff is is amazing, helpful, and knowledgeable. My main colorist/stylist is Lauren Golden, the owner, and she pays close attention to all of the guests that come into the salon. I really believe Lauren and the rest of the staff truly care about everyone who calls or steps foot in there! I have gone from light to dark and dark to light many times and was really helped out in how to care for my damaged hair as a result of all these changes. I can always trust the advice I'm given and care I receive when I go into Salon J-Elle and I always recommend friends to this salon. You won't be disappointed! And if for some reason you are, I know Lauren will listen to your concerns and try to work with you to do whatever is necessary to make it right so you love your hair!
EVER EVER come here. All the positive reviews for this place is a complete joke! i thought since it was rated 5. Stars, it would be awesome. My old stylist moved so i picked this place. Omg worse choice ever. Piss poor horrible work. Even with a consultation, they will promise that they can do the work right. Lies. I had very long hair that had veryvery old tint red. I was PROMISED to get it out and Givin a brow color witha baylage ash BLONDE . They chopped at least 2 inches (if not more) off and started with the bleach. Soooo much damage. Highlights everywhere, almost to the root. The whole time it was in the sink, i could feel my hair ripping with a lot ofpain. Brushing went the same. I complained, and I was told it was a special brush. So much of my hair was ruined at the top just from that. And it was VIRGIN HAIR! not. Even old color. After it was "done" in bad lighting it was bad. "Outside light is better!" It wasnt. AND she AND the owner noticed that I was not happy and tried to play it off. It looked terrible and the texture was so fried that I coud not run my hands through it. All it was was ripping pain. My fiance saw it right after and asked if I had wanted the top of the color grey. HELL NO! And I either got no compliments or "oh." I asked for half refund and the owner said no, its policy and that I should come back for a glaze and conditioner. HELL NO! I was already charged for that. I went to Aveda and they put two intense conditioners, glaze, AND foils to break up the "highlights". Result: soft shiny non-grey and orange hair, looking great. The J elle Owner will screw u and cares more about 300 dollars than a happy client. Do NOT go to this selfish salon!!!!
