I went there last year. It sucks.
Lovely new parish church.
We love the Church and met many nice parishioners. We just moved from Potomac, Maryland and St. Francis reminds us of our old parish, Our Lady of Mercy.
I'm disgusted right now I'm a single mother in an abusive relationship for 2 years moved into Southern properties my landlord was Jackie deshazo I moved in when the baby was two months old she is now 8 months old I've had two problems here what was attacked and things were stolen from me when the cops ask if they had cameras they did not I was not even able to get my money back or file a police report everybody needs Apartments besides me and my daughters do or sell drugs and get their rent paid for free from st. Francis from his Jackie's personal friend Woods Allen I have let's just say her in person saying she knows of two people in this apartment that sell serious drugs and that get their rent paid and she's fine with that when I spoke to somebody at st. Francis about it they said they're aware that they help drug dealers pay rent and that they're pretty much okay with it here I am a single mother it would stage 2 cancer my daughter who was kidnapped two nights ago and I was attacked and these apartments again and there's no cameras so hard to make a police report and I come home that same morning from picking my daughter up from where she was kidnapped and Jackie is putting up an eviction notice on my door for 5 days to get out from yesterday on July 4th weekend again I'm a single mother with cancer with two daughters with a car with no AC nobody to help me I'm disgusted with how New Orleans works and that even churches are paying for drug dealers to live places for free apparently the owner of this building mr. Terry was a priest and his wife used to be a nun so I guess that goes to show you I'm disgusted I need real help and I guess Louisiana New Orleans Jefferson they'd rather pay for drug dealers to kill people that help single mothers
On Metairie Road, St. Francis Xavier is a great church to go to Mass and belong! A little over five years ago, St. Francis Xavier Parish built this new church, because the parish had really out grown the other parish church, which was many decades old. Lastly, Fr. T does a great job as pastor!
