With the exception of accessories like jewelry and purses, I am always disappointed with women's clothing and shoes at this location. On top of it, 9 times out of 10, customer service is very rude or non-existent. When staff see me taking a bunch of clothes into the dressing room or deciding between a pair of shoes (one of which is pricier), they want to run and help me spend the most money as possible. Contrarily, when I'm just in for something specific and really need help finding it (if they even have it), I just get ignored. Help is nowhere to be found. Hello? Does anybody work here?
I asked the lady on the 3rd floor if she could show me where an item was because the area she pointed to didn't even have spoons. I only went up to the lady after I had fully explored the area & couldn't find what I was looking for. She said she couldn't stop what she was doing to go & show me where the item was. She just nodded her head in a general direction back to the area where I came from. I was looking for utensils. She nodded towards spatulas. It wasn't even in the same area as spoons. She gave me the feeling that she was just trying to get ride of me. What through me off was that she was friendly with the customers in front of me but had apparently a dislike for me.I put my stuff back and left. I HATED coming here. I hope this location closes.
On a positive note, the men's department is usually well stocked and organized with many good choices. If you're looking for slacks, shirts, shorts, belts, ties, wallets, watches, or shoes, you'll likely find exactly what you need with no help at all.

Throughly impressed by the Macys team Dominique and Patsy at Lakeview Macys! I can’t express enough how helpful and genuine they were. I find it hard to find such CustomerService, they should get a raise! They spent well over an hour solving my questions and issues w my registry/ gift card conundrum. Patsy was helpful with product info and details. I was amazed by their service!
I shop at Macy's all the time and had a defective Calvin Klein dress where the stitching came out in the middle of the dress after 1 wear. Because the tags were off, Macy refused to refund me, refused a like for like exchange and refused to repair the dress. The Manager kept repeating that because the tags were off that there was nothing they could do and that I had to take it up with Calvin Klein directly. What a horrible customer satisfaction policy. I am not surprised that they are in financial trouble given the competition out there.
In general, this Macy's location is a good place to shop for gifts, kitchenware, and men's clothing and accessories. However, if you have ever shopped in other Macy's stores nationwide, then you may be disappointed with this one. Yes, they carry designer labels and always have sales. They all do. It is a chain. Otherwise, finding what you want (and expect from Macy's) is hit or miss, especially in women's.
