Bought a refrigerator 3 weeks ago; pretty poor floor service at the time until I tracked down someone from another area instead of waiting ofr the associate to get off the phone. Delivery has been rescheduled twice (once was unavoidable) so two days off work waiting for nothing for happen. Also was misled by associate regarding ice maker hook up, resulting in an unnecessary visit from a plumber. Still without a frig, and adding up plumber bill and time off work, this is getting to be an expensive appliance. I won't be going back to Lowe's for anything I can't find and carry out on my own.
Love love love. Lowe's kicks Home Depot's butt any day. Super helpful, abundant workers who are actually at their stations. Pretty much no line.
I ordered a gas oven for home delivery on 11/24, and was told it would be delivered on 12/21. On 12/20 I was suppose to get a call giving me a two-hour delivery window. No call and 24 hours later, I had to call customer support to find out what happened to my order. I was informed that the store manager failed to reach out to me and tell me that the oven had not arrived from their supplier in time for delivery, and their truck driver did not show up to work, and I'd be luck if my oven showed up by 12/26, the day after Christmas! I guess I get to spend Christmas day at my house with friends and family telling everyone how bad Lowe's screwed up my purchase, instead of enjoying my new appliance.
Saturday after thanksgiving they had 1 human cashier. After waiting about 20 mins in line, 2 more cashiers opened registers. After motioning for everyone to leave their line and come to them, they walked off. Yep. Walked away... then when I went to get back in my original line everyone wanted to fight me. Great experience.
I was able to find what I needed in a timely manner. Service was ok.
