Lefty's Moving Service just showed up 10 minutes late for our appointment time. The owner was driving the beat-up truck. I asked him to pull the truck closer to the house to save time (and money) and make it easier for the moving guys to load. He'd parked so that they had to go down the stairs and into the apartment parking lot next door to load the truck. He started arguing with me asking if I wanted to be responsible for breaking the concrete or for Plumbing breaks. I said people do it all the time at this house and there is no danger of that on the city side of the sidewalk (where I was asking him to pull into my driveway). He argued again and so I asked if he would be able to credit me for the extra time it will take for the men to load that way. I said that his way was going to take longer. He said "We don't have to move you at all!" I told him, in a very calm but no-nonsense voice, that what he'd just said was really rude and he yelled back "you're rude! YOU'RE RUDE!" He was red-faced and crazy-eyed! This man was so incredibly rude to me, that when he repeated "We don't have to move you at all!" I told him to leave. Now you know if I did that on my moving day it had to be bad!

I called to see if they would help us unload a shipment of one pallet. Instead of politely advising it is not a service they provide, She gave attitude and hung up on me while I was mid sentence. Can't rate them based off performance but I will for customer service. NOT HOW BUSINESS SHOULD BE DONE. common courtesies go a long way in life.
