if i could give this place no stars i would, but you have to give them at least one to post. you will notice a plagues on the wall with the hospital mission statement and core values, the first one listed is customer focus, not patient focus but customer focus. If we are customers and not patients then this customer wants their money back. No other business could be run this poorly and still be in business. looking at the rest of the reviews there are 12 one star reviews of which only 4 have been responded to, all 4 with the same..."sorry call this number response". Ridiculous. 1/3 third of the reviews are complaints. 7 positive reviews have been responded too, curious...................................

She show us to my room the nurse comes in check my sugar its fine, takes my vitals Blood Pressure is find Oxygen fine. This is what confusing to us for a hospital thay is suppose to care she took my temperature orally she said I had a fever of 108 degrees then she take the temperature in my ear she says it reads 104 degree mow she is not showing my mother or myself any of these readings. (No I was not hot did not have the shakes was not coughing nothing.) The nurse lets me know she is going to call my doctor to find out about the surgery. She comes back and say Dr MCclure is cancelling the surgery because of the fever and she suggest that I go to urgent care find out what is going on.(What urgent care is open at 6:30am).This nurse ushered out of that department like we had contiguous disease or something. My question is if I haf a fever of 108/104 why was I allowed to walk out of your hospital with that type of numbers. 108 I was on the verge of heart stroke then a stroke. I also received a call from the doctor checking on me because the nurse told them I had the flu, how can she diagnosis me as having the flu. From my first day Tuesday December 26 step one inside this hospital I did not feel comfortable or made comfortable or welcome or respected but I ignored it, yet December 29 5:30am from start to finish proved what I was sensing was correct. There was no concerned, no help, no compassionate, no empathy shown to me. I was left on my own to fend for myself. Wow this is not a hospital I want to be apart of. Really need to get it together as,well as put some fore under your workers.

P.S. the NICU nursers are a bunch of angels and are under paid no matter what they are making now.

Nice hospital for Tulane Sports Medicine surgery. Got great care except by one nurse who passive aggressive and wouldnt give me my ordered pain meds. I was surprised at what a great job they did and how gemerally patient centric they are. Be aware that some of your medications may not be on their formulary and that different not necessarily comparable medications may be substituted.

in response to the response i received, so happy you take responsibility for the delays, and your apology doesn't get me back the lost time, and taking responsibility is an empty gesture. i literally can hear the "who cares" shrug of your shoulders while you typed that. So you take responsibility... big deal if nothing is done to correct the problem. Imagine a waiter brings you cold food and their response is " i take responsibility" and then does nothing about it... how would that make you feel? "fall behind from time to time," that implies that you get it right most of the time and not only is that false but its insulting, you fall behind every time and do nothing to correct the on-going and continuous problem. You are not just letting us down, you are showing us no respect what so ever. This is not health CARE, it is health services and poorly run service at that.

the entire scheduling department should be fired immediately. In the months that my wife, and now daughter, have been going to this hospital not a single appointment has started within an hour of the schedule time.

Friday December 29 , 2017 I was schedule for out patient surgery. I was given the time of 5:45am to arrive at the hospital. I stop at the desk in emergency to register just to ne ask for my payment that I did on Tuesday I am thankful I had my receipt to show her I paid then she was able to find it in the sustem. I arrived to out patient surgery there are 2 nurses at the desk one leaves the desk in hurry to the back as soon as my mom and I walk through the door. The nurse (young) ask my name and once again the question of payment does anyone communicate with each other here? Evidently Not.

I had my baby there back in February 2016 and they were great. Dr Amy Grace was excellent and I was referred to her by another patient. The wait time there is ridiculously long and I make sure I take care of all my business before I go to my scheduled appointment. My husband makes me take off from work because he hates the wait time. Other than the wait time their professionalism was never in questioned.

Enough of the understanding and apologies, fix it or stop saying you care. Prove you care.

Typically I would go to Tulane Downtown. Today I was too sick. I came in at 4 p.m. I ended up signing myself out after 6 hours. The ER was busier than normal. The 6 hour wait wasn't the problem. The staff totally forgot about me. My urine sample was never taken from the room. No blood work was done and no IV, yet they insisted on feeding me pills that were already given to me to lower my blood pressure. It was lower when I got there. After signing myself out, the nurse told me they weren't responsible for whatever happens to me. Fine. I get it. However, you all FORGOT I was in a room with the curtain open that everyone passes.

If you have other options for healthcare I strongly suggest you seek it else ware.
